Rebekah you turned 12!
You turned 12 and it was such a great day of celebrating you! It seems just like yesterday when you surprised us with your two week early entrance! You will forever be our little girl who is shy and careful and kind-of crazy! HA!
We are so proud of you. I am sure when you thought about turning 12 you didn’t think you would be in El Salvador doing so many different things. But you are and you are great at living here. You have made a huge difference in the lives of the people around you. You care about your friends and you strive to love God everyday.
It is a joy watching you have fun. To see you sing at church and to help out with all the babies in the nursery. You sure do know what you love. Somethings that have never changed in you is your love for singing. Since before you could talk you could sing. Somethings that remain the same are your love for strawberries. You still, to this day, cross your arms and stomp your foot when you get upset. You still are shy and speak softly unless well, you are mad! HA!
Thank you for being you and for taking this grand adventure of our life as a family with great stride and love. We love you so much and look forward to your last year before you become a TEENAGER! EEEEEK!!!! 🙂
Love you so much Mija,
Mom and Dad
